Murka Trixter the Cat needs a home
Murka Trixter first came to Purrfect Pals in 2004 as a kitten. She was adopted then and was with that family her entire life. Fast forward thirteen years and her beloved family brought her back to us because they were moving out of state and couldn't take her along. Murka is a sweet brown tabby lady who is more than a bit upset about losing her home, the people she loved and being in a shelter. If you sit and talk sweetly with her she will grace you with the squinty eyes of contentment. When she's relaxed, she'll purr deeply and tell you what's on her mind, while leaning her head back into your hand. She's been an only child her entire life and doesn't care for other cats, so she is looking for a home where she is the only pet. Recently she's started exploring the adoption room and we've learned she likes to give head butts and climb into your lap. The adoption is a tough environment for Murka and she's often grumpy about her current circumstances. Like so many of our older cats in this situation, she wants you to know that she's a totally different cat outside the shelter and will give you her whole-hearted love if you'll give her a home of her own again. She needs a new home with people she can count on to love her through her golden years, feed her a good quality food to support her health and promise her a home full of peace and happiness.
